Wearing his dress blues Thompson joins hundreds of business tycoons and powerful politicians gathered in Houston for the funeral of a former president. While flying to the funeral a sickle-cell anemia attack causes the first black vice-president to land in Atlanta for a complete blood transfusion and he misses his rendezvous with the assassin. . Standing near to the president Thompson spots the CEO responsible for his son’s death because of a radiation leak and the utility company’s subsequent cover-up. The assassin explodes on national television killing the president and dozens of mourners gathered at the funeral. Vice-president James Cole becomes American’s first black president. Agent Henrique de la Santos with the help of his sister Irma identifies the terrorists and tracks the assassins to their East Texas lair where the duo plan to create another human bomb for an attempt against the black president..
