The Anglican Life of Prayer

This book is an attempt to help Christians especially Anglicans to enrich their spiritual lives with ‘the Bible arranged for worship’ – the Prayer Book. The Daily Office presented here is structured according to the daily Morning and Evening Prayers of the English Book of Common Prayer (1662) which is the standard for doctrine discipline and worship throughout the global Anglican Communion. The Bible verses are largely conformed to the English Standard Version (ESV) while the rest of the text draws heavily from the same standard of clear modern English language. - from the Preface
