Original (As enacted) 2018 No. 486ANIMALS ENGLANDThe Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018Made - - - -16th April 2018Coming into force - -1st October 2018The Secretary of State is in relation to England the appropriate national authority for the purpose of exercising the powers conferred by section 13(2) (7) (8) and (10) of and Parts 1 and 3 of Schedule 1to the Animal Welfare Act 2006(1) and makes the following Regulations in exercise of those powers.In accordance with section 13(9) of that Act the Secretary of State has consulted such persons appearing to the Secretary of State to represent interests with which these Regulations are concerned as the Secretary of State considered appropriate.In accordance with section 61(2) of that Act a draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by resolution of each House of Parliament.
