The Art of Commercial Drumming

Throughout my life I have had several experiences with teaching drum lessons. Playing in bands have always been my passion. I remembered the first time I performed popular tunes on the radio and noticed I was able to come close to emulating these original hit-making artists. It was very exciting to me. I grew up experiencing varying levels of professionalism in terms of the bands I performed with. Even after performing with several Grammy winning artist. Either traveling the globe performing in major world-renowned venues or playing in intimate club settings. I distinctly remember when I first performed with Diana Ross. A chill ran up my spine because of the thrill of playing hit records with the artist that created them. This book gives me an opportunity to share my knowledge and experience in an effort to give drummers the necessary tools needed to help them have the same thrills.
