<p>The first edition of the descriptive manual “<b>The Art of Learning Preclinical Prosthodontics</b>” has benefitted a wide number of students throughout the country in understanding pre-clinical prosthodontics.  The success of first edition has motivated the authors to refine the content in a more structured layout which will enable the students to acquire knowledge and reproduce skill effectively. Every chapter contains learning objectives essential terminologies and sequential pictorial representations for each laboratory skill with adequate emphasis on its clinical application. This will assist students in better comprehension and formulation of treatment plan during their clinical years. </p><p>The most challenging clinical procedure for an undergraduate student is establishing jaw relationship for completely edentulous patients which has been extensively described in this edition.
