Im totally not going to lie to you the smell of my Dad sautéing onions for chicken curry bummed me out when I was a kid. I was more than happy eating frozen chicken nuggets and kraft mac and cheese. Learning how to cook real food was definitely not at the top of my list of things to be doing. As a poor college student I finally had to start cooking meals with what I had to save money.
