The Art of Soulmaking for the Incarcerated

<p><strong>What if our prisons became monasteries? Some have. This is the plan that allowed more than 200000 incarcerated individuals to rebuild intimacy with their lives. </strong></p><p></p><p>T<em>he Art of Soulmaking for the Incarcerated </em>was designed by Nicole Daedone. She imagined reframing the prison experience as an opportunity for growth and transformation. <em>The Art of Soulmaking for the Incarcerated </em>is the manifestation of that idea and has been used in over 1450 facilities across the United States. It provides the tools for individuals to find meaning and purpose unlocking creativity to enrich their lives the community around them and society. </p><p></p><p><em>The Art of Soulmaking for the Incarcerated </em>offers a series of lessons and practices to help those in prison access their inner voice or soul and develop a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them. Participants often use the sometimes harsh conditions of prison as material for that awakening. The program is structured around practices readings and questions for integration with the aim of fostering a commitment to growing one's soul and living a more fulfilling and flourishing life in prison. As of October 2025 more than 200000 incarcerated individuals have engaged in <em>The Art of Soulmaking</em>. </p><p></p><p>Anyone living in prison who would like a copy of this book receives one for free. All proceeds for <em>The Art of Soulmaking for the Incarcerated </em>go to Unconditional Freedom a 501(c)3 to further support the development of this program.
