The artistic agent and the artist

Originating in the Anglo-Saxon world the profession of artistic agent is one of the more recent professions in artistic and cultural management that is still little known in France and neglected by research. Sometimes denigrated and sometimes obscure to the general public it is often poorly perceived by the artists themselves who see agents as a source of problems rather than a key player in the organisation of their careers.
