The Audacious Hope of Job

Will I keep on giving my allegiance to this God who seems to be very distant in my distress? That and a hundred other questions flood from our heart to God''s throne room as we go through pain and suffering. However the Lord asks us in turn to pledge our allegiance to Him at all times - in good and difficult times. Disinterested righteousness is what is asked of us via The Book of Job. For him it was apparent as he sought for a Go''el - someone who will take up his cause before God.
