<p>Life is back to normal levels of death-defying for May and Xan the infamous rocket-racing team and devoted platonic life partners. But there wouldn't be a new book if something horrible didn't happen to these two again. </p><p></p><p>A near-deadly encounter with Xan's doppleganger has May unstuck in space/time.
