<p>May's a lonely 20-something working fast food when news hits of alien abductions across the planet. Barely joking she wishes she'd be next and the aliens oblige. </p><p></p><p>Xan's a lonely 300-something on the run living in an old military racing rocket and occasionally having sex for money. When Xan rescues May from a lifetime of alien servitude they become tentative friends. Together they bring the illicit rocket racing scene to its knees (with laughter) as they try to make a living going really really fast and not dying about it. </p><p></p><p>But even a Class 20 racing rocket isn't fast enough to outrun Xan's troubled past and the Earth's troubled future.</p>
