The Aura Warden

Miriam had just finished school and was unsure where life would take her. She had always been able to see colors around other people but that always seemed like a nuisance. When her brother comes home and asks for her help she finds herself in the big city for the first time. As she learns about her developing aura-reading abilities she uncovers a nefarious scheme to control the city's courts through the manipulation of Aura Wardens. She matches wits with the crime lord behind the scheme and overcomes a kidnapping threats and direct attacks to her aura. In the end she manages to help her brother's girlfriend to free a wrongfully imprisoned man and also to improbably fall in love.
