<p><strong>The Awakening</strong> follows Daniel a man who has it all-wealth power and status-but is consumed by an unbearable emptiness. Trapped in the sterile world of capitalism he faces a growing existential void that no material possession can fill. As his body begins to decay reflecting the rot within Daniel attempts to escape through death only to fail and confront the truth of his existence. Isolated from society he's forced to reckon with the gruesome decay of his physical and spiritual self. His journey becomes one of painful self-realization-death he discovers is not the answer. True freedom lies in confronting the darkness accepting the decay and transcending the hollow system that consumes him. <em>The Awakening</em> is a grotesque philosophical descent into the heart of a broken man and the cruel world that shaped him.</p>
