<p><strong>The alien artefact was seventy thousand years old and had been found and then hidden by someone for over a century.</strong></p><p><strong>Neil an adept scientist was sorting through a crate of electrical equipment he had purchased at an auction when he discovered a weathered rosewood box. Inside was a primitive circuit that contained a strange crystal orb. Intrigued he connected a power supply and a laptop to activate and test the circuit. Initially only white noise and occasional bursts of static came from the laptop speaker. However when his wife touched the crystal she heard a voice in her mind asking for help.</strong></p><p><strong>After the device suddenly stopped working Neil began constructing a modern circuit board connected to the crystal. In time he discovered that the crystal could receive telepathic transmissions from alien beings and could serve as a gateway into the vast and extraordinary realm of Mind Space.</strong></p>
