The Bahouddin Nakshband historical complex

This year 2020 marks the 700th anniversary of the birth of Bahouddin Nakshband. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirziyoyev has adopted a special resolution to celebrate the jubilee of the great scientist. The Bahouddin shrine has become one of the main places of pilgrimage for Muslims around the world. Every year 2 mln visitors visit the complex. The influx of pilgrims from Muslim countries such as Turkey Malaysia Indonesia Pakistan and others where the Nakshbandi sect is widespread is increasing year by year. There are now more than 40 mln Nakshbandi followers and descendants around the world. The personality of B.Nakshband is mentioned and studied with special respect in the world in the Islamic world. The services of Bukhara scholars like B.Nakshband are invaluable in the announcement of Bukhara as the Capital of the Islamic Culture in 2020 by the Islamic World Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO). We believe that this book dedicated to the religious beliefs of the people at the B.Nakshband shrine will also serve to promote the scholar in the world and once again increase the fame of Bukhara in the world.
