It was in the late 19th century that it was discovered that it was possible to record the electrical activity of the heart with electrodes placed on the surface of the body through a recording which is called electrocardiogram (ECG) and provides indirect information about the functioning of the heart.In this book we have covered the basics of ECG interpretation starting with cardiac electrophysiology.
