About The Book

In pre-independence India the Bengal Border dispute erupted severely in 1946 in Kolkata. It took the shape and name – Kolkata Massacre – a massive Hindu-Muslim riots resulting in ten thousand killing and fifteen thousand wounded between August 16 and 19 1946. This massacre was instigated by Muslim League and led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah proclaiming – Direct Action Day – to throw out Hindus from Bengal in undivided India. The bloodbath started with cruelty by fanatic Muslims upon Hindus in Dhaka and reached Kolkata. Again from Kolkata the slaughtering reached back Dhaka in October 1946 and in Noakhali district a series of organized massacres rapes and abductions combined with looting and arson of Hindu properties perpetrated by the Muslim community. And since then till 2013 twelve million Hindus fled Bangladesh to save lives under the nose of Muslim League and Indian National Congress party.
