Christians are confronted constantly with references about a certain place or a certain time. The object of <i>The Bent Nail</i> is to weave a narrative that connects these times places and characters and breathes coherence and timeliness into them.</p>The novel also aims to bring to life obscure references in the bible giving the reader a clearer understanding of events depicted in <i>the Bible</i>'s narratives AND to expand the blame for Jesus' crucifixion beyond Pontius Pilate-to temple priests led by high priests Caiaphas ana Annas and Galilee tetrarch Herod Antipas.
