This is a story about a rich family and a poor family. The rich family gave room to the poor family when they needed it. Despite all the troubles the Tender family gave to the Richard family grandmother was able to plead with Mr. Richard. The Tender family was given the opportunity to stay and even at Christmas. Tender family gets to live with the Richards forever. This is certainly a good book for children to read or read to share and enjoy.
