The Black Monastery

<p>1866. Corpus Christi Texas. </p><p>This deeply devout Catholic small town still reeling from the wounds of war has barely begun to recover when it faces yet another calamity. </p><p>Under the cover of night unknown assailants brutally murder local priests and abduct altar boys. Even the Saint Lucia Nunnery on the outskirts of town isn't spared by the merciless perpetrators. </p><p>Arisztid Wratiszlaw the town's Hungarian-born sheriff is left with only one blood-stained message on the chapel wall: Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins! 
</p><p>As the sheriff and his misfit posse set out to hunt down the brutal cult but their mission is hindered not only by the tensions within their group but also by their living nightmares: Terrifying biblical stories brought to life before their very eyes and the haunting question of whether they're facing more than mere mortals this time...</p>
