The Blind Assistant

Recent researches for Biomedical Electronics field are mostly concerned with the development of tools to support the Blinds. These researches are dedicated to help the Blinds to recognize their surrounding objects. Aiding the Blinds to move safely in different environments until reaching their objectives is also among the most important issues that should be covered. This book introduces suggested real-application assistance for the Blinds: to help them living an almost normal and safe life by recognizing their surrounding objects finding their way safely. This is achieved by applying different techniques for Image Processing Image Acquisition and Artificial Neural Network (ANN). The Blind Assistant''s suggested system offers some aiding tools like the recognition of an object''s color the detection of an object according to its color and how to preserve the Blinds via dangers specific sounds.
