The blog and its tools: Integrating the student-patient at school

Children and adolescents debilitated by illness and cut off from their school environment (friends colleagues teachers and others) find it difficult to maintain the link with school when they return especially when they have been immersed in the hospital environment for a long time. It is important to emphasise that the measure of time for the student-patient is not the same as the daily life of those outside hospital. Life passes slowly for those who are cut off from social interaction. A week a fortnight a month months?
