The Blue Heron Books Are Designed To Help Children Cope Successfully With Critical Personal And Social Issues. Volume I Contains Four Short Stories That Focus On Topics Such As Physical Abuse Sexual Abuse Domestic Violence Foster Care Adoption And Self-Esteem. There Is A Worksheet Following Each Short Story To Assist With Processing These Difficult Topics With Children. The Books Can Be Utilized As An Intervention Prevention Or Awareness Tool. They Are Primarily Designed For Children Developmentally Between The Ages Of 5-10 But Can Be Enjoyed And Utilized By All Ages.
