<p>Crow and Bluebird governments lead to the former children that were a part of it being on the run either solo or with their adoptive parents when it expires and they are due to be sent back to their biological parents. Knowing nothing else but what it is like to live in the Bluebird Territory Amethyst is on the run with her adoptive mom with the help of a close family friend. Unfortunately checkpoints between Bluebird Stream and Arestomer further complicate things. All Amethyst wants is to end the unrelenting pain she has had since she was a teenager and have a normal life. Meanwhile her friends who've decided to fight back through grassroots efforts are using everything in their power to rise against the Crow government and TerraTech who use everything in their arsenal to thwart student protesters. Will Amethyst and her friends win their freedom or will they be further caught up in the system they seek to dismantle?</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
