The Book of Religions and Dynasties

<p>For centuries Abu Ma'shar's <em>The Book of Religions & Dynasties</em> was known in Latin as <em>On the Great Conjunctions</em> and dominated European mundane astrology. It holds a leading place in distilling Persian and Arabic thought on historical astrology the use of Saturn-Jupiter conjunctions and their triplicity shifts in defining eras of politics religions and civilizational trends. </p><p></p><p>In this new translation from the Arabic Benjamin Dykes introduces students to mundane astrology generally but especially Abu Ma'shar's own interpretive and predictive techniques. which are adapted from his own natal practice. These techniques are also taught in Dykes's own <em>Traditional Natal Astrology Course</em>.
