The Book of Taine

<p>What we become is often influenced by circumstances we cannot control. This is the story of a young girl from a Hong Kong farm who was sold into servitude by her father to raise money for next seasons crops. The man she was sold to was an up-and-coming member of the Chinese Triad whose brutality would change the course of Lien Bo Liu's life. The course of events Lien Bo lived through would bring about a transformation from farm girl to the head of a criminal enterprise operating out of Philadelphia's Chinatown.
