The Bookman Song: A Memoir

Desperate for a job in the summer of 1979 two college friends decided to sell educational books door-to-door on commission 1500 miles away from home. It was a ridiculous thing to do and everyone told them so. But they did it anyway and proceeded to have one of the greatest adventures of their lives. With barely $100 between them and no idea what they were getting into they embarked on a surreal journey across America and ended up in a place neither one of them had ever heard of doing things they could never have imagined.
