The Boy Allies with the Victorious Fleets follows the adventures of Jack Templeton and Frank Chadwick two young officers in the British navy during World War I. The narrative begins with Jack taking command of the U.S.S. Plymouth an American destroyer due to the illness of its captain and first officer. Alongside Frank his first officer and close friend Jack successfully navigates the ship through the Irish Sea escorting transports and engaging in anti-submarine operations. The story then shifts focus as the duo is reassigned to the H.M.S. Brigadier a British destroyer with orders to deliver important dispatches to the United States.
