The Brainio Diaries

Brainio the Italian greyhound's view of himself is that he is a dog of style intelligence and wit. In essence a dog of distinction and born for better things. Unfortunately for Brainio others - some humans and certain dogs and cats - do not view him as he sees himself. He is abused (one owner tries to drown him) belittled and made the butt of jokes and sarcasm. Brainio considers there is no concern for his feelings or personal space. He is also very very bored. However he is an optimistic dog and as Noel Coward famously advised he rises above it. His fortunes change when he meets a witch in the woods. And her cat. The witch Zerlina who can communicate with animals shows a strong liking for Brainio and takes an interest in his story. She becomes an important part of Brainio's life helps him write his diaries and introduces him to adventurous new experiences where he learns more about himself and what are exactly the better things he was born for.
