So far Jayden's kept her home of Calgary and Canonsland separate. But on a hike with her mother that changes when the Winter Dragon bursts out of the river Sir Edric is stabbed by a knife-wielding woman and Jayden's mother nearly drowns.</p><p> </p><p>Never before has Jayden <em>needed</em> to return to Canonsland. That day has come now. When she finally returns she finds Wyndham and the dragon injured too. Everything pinpoints to one person: To the woman Jayden saw that held a knife by the river.  </p><p><br></p><p>As a knight-in-training Jayden hunts the woman across Canonsland with Laurence.
