The Brooch

A young officer comes upon a small village while on patrol in Korea. He discovers a family in hiding who are trying to escape the communists by fleeing to the south.</p><p>The officer Mark Daniels befriends the family who is to have a tremendous effect on his life. Mi Hi the young daughter of the family grows more beautiful and ambitious. She becomes a user of men employing sex and lust to gain their help in attaining her goals. She seeks vengeance against those who she thinks have dishonored her family. Forgiveness is not a part of her make up. She becomes a physically well-endowed beauty who outwardly exhibits the characteristics of a soft and loving woman; Mark Daniels falls in love with her. As a token of that love he gives her a brooch that shows up again and again through out the novel.</p><p>Two murders take place murders that in some way are connected to Mi Hi. Was Mi Hi involved? It is very possible.but maybe not.</p><p><I>The Brooch</I> is a love story/mystery that keeps the reader guessing while entwining an entertaining love story throughout.
