<p>The Call of the Wild is a novella written by American author Jack London which tells the story of a dog named Buck. Buck grew up in the grand mansion of the judge living a leisurely and affluent noble life. However in the tide of the gold rush carefree Buck was kidnapped by his family's gardener and taken to the icy and snowy North to become a sled dog falling from the center of civilization into the extremely dangerous wilderness. The cruel reality did not give Buck time to adapt. It faced the merciless beating of its new owner the crazy exclusion of its dog companions and even experienced the test of death time and time again.</p><p>In a series of blows and brutal survival competitions Buck finally set aside the refined manners of the civilized world and learned the most primitive stick tooth rule.
