The Call of the Wild

An exhilaration marks the pinnacle of life beyond which it is impossible to aspire. Yet that is the paradox of living: ecstasy occurs when one is most alive and it appears as complete oblivion of ones own existence. Buck a muscular St. Bernard-Shepherd mix has his life flipped upside down when he is kidnapped from his master and forced to work as a sledge dog in Alaska. As he learns the ways of the wilderness his once luxurious life transforms into one of survival and adaptation. The Call of the Wild is a film set in the Klondike region of Canada during the 1890s Klondike Gold Rush that follows the change of a dog as he learns to hunt.
