The Captain

<p>A young boy is disappointed by circumstances he can not control. In anger he takes out his sailboat hoping to escape his problem. Suddenly a storm comes up blowing him off course. Lost at sea he then finds himself marooned on an island. Instead of feeling fear and self pity he actually <em>enjoys</em> himself exploring and observing nature. Unconsciously he discovers the freedom of letting life's setbacks go and delights in accepting the circumstances for what they are truly wonderful. The boy becomes the captain of his boat in actuality his attitude and steers himself toward a happy resolution. The Captain is a picture book that can be listened to or read by anyone who needs help looking at a situation in a new and positive way.</p>
