A fiery boy from Delhi picked up a bat before he could spell cricket. After early struggles and his father’s loss in 2006 he rose leading India to U-19 World Cup glory in 2008. From chubby rookie to fitness icon he broke ODI records and earned the title Chase Master. Despite a rough patch (2020–2022) he bounced back with a T20 century in 2022 and retired from T20s in 2024 leaving behind a legendary legacy.
