The case for Enhancing the Quality of Primary Evaluations

This book makes a case for meta-evaluation and advances the plausible perspective that meta-evaluation improves the quality of primary evaluations. It argues that meta-evaluation is a form of evaluative enquiry that is aimed at assessing the strengths and weaknesses of primary evaluations. Through so doing meta evaluations make a valuable contribution to enhancing the credibility and reliability of the evaluative evidence provided to decision-makers.
