The Case of the Niceferatu

<p>This Winter Solstice beware the Fifty-Year Feast.</p><p></p><p>Vampires arrive in Elderton for a deadly blood ritual. People look to thirteen-year-old supernatural sleuth Dotty Morgan to save the day. But her girlfriend and secret weapon Hannah is sidelined by a sledding injury and Dotty hesitates to take the case. Is she scared? Duh! Vampires kill people. They're scary. Like <em>really</em> scary.</p><p></p><p>There's another wrinkle. Not all the vampires are evil. Sure most are vicious bloodsuckers but some are upstanding members of the community. A vampire hunter is in town attacking them all indiscriminately. Not only does Dotty need to stop the blood rite she must parse the good from the bad and protect the vampires who are just trying to go to work and live their lives. </p><p></p><p>It would be easier just to run away-but when has Dotty Morgan ever done things the easy way?</p>
