the cat fell asleep in the sun is a collection of poetry spanning several topics moods and concepts all connecting to a broader theme of finding higher consciousness god and wisdom in unconventional or otherwise mundane places. It touches on adolescence the mind nothingness first loves queerness the human condition metaphysics quantum physics and octopuses (briefly). I wrote this book during a period of my life where everything was uncertain; the book evolved alongside me and what emerged was a new life philosophy and a written account of how I got there. The book has served it's purpose in my life; I hope to share it's insights with you.
