<p>Paul Rice is asked to attend a funeral by his friend and governor of the state Claire Thayer-Prescott. She requests Paul to look into the recent murder of the man now being buried but most of all she wants him to track down and find the truth of a rumor now being spread about her late husband and his involvement with the Nazis during World War Two. Naturally he accepts and the trail pairs him up with Erin Collins the CNN reporter who first stumbled across the rumor and bought it to Claire's attention. They follow the breadcrumbs across the States and eventually to Ireland where they learn of the lost Templar treasure and the men seeking it including a band of Neo-Nazis who call themselves the Black Knights and possibly Claire's late husband.</p>
