The Childlike Kingdom

<i>O Father Lord of heaven and earth thank you for hiding these things from those who think themselves wise and clever and for revealing them to the childlike. Yes Father it pleased you to do it this way. (JESUS)<br /></i>This book crayons and cartoons notwithstanding really isn’t a children’s book. Yet at its heart that’s <i>exactly</i> what it is. It’s kind of hard to explain which is probably why the author uses so many colors and pictures though that’s not the only reason. As a starting point let’s agree it’s a book (alphabet!) for kids of all ages especially those who have experienced a few more birthday parties and Christmas mornings. And for Anderson’s first word <i>play</i> it is also a book filled with truth that is for all times all places and all people . . . all <i>ages. </i>After all the eternal words of Jesus will be front and center from start to finish. <i><br /></i>The call of Jesus to his kingdom <i>requires</i> we become and live childlike. So what does that sound like look like and live like? Oh . . . and <i>play</i> like? <i><br /></i>You are invited by the King to enter <i>The Childlike Kingdom</i>! <br />
