The Christian in Contemporary Nigerian Society

The book sees religious violence in Nigeria with emphasis on conflict resolution. The church has a responsibility to lead the nation in presenting peaceful resolutions to all forms of violence whether in the home the community or nationally. Following closely on the issue of religious violence is that of corruption at all levels from personal to political. Lastly the physical health of the individual and community is of vital interest to all. This book considers and examines the role of the Christian in Contemporary Nigerian Society with a view to taking responsibility in meeting the challenges and contributing to the solutions. This book reminds the Christian that he or she is not alone; he or she is but one part in the overall picture of a nation struggling to take its place in the 21st century world.</p>
