She has authored and published over 60 children's books. Her works have received numerous awards including the National Outstanding Children's Literature Award the Soong Ching Ling Children's Literature Award the Chen Bochui Children's Literature Award and the Bingxin Children's Literature New Work Award. Her representative works include Stories of the Stupid Wolf The Little Witch Zhen Meili The Elf in the Attic The Red Shoes and A Lian.</p><p>汤素兰，国家一级作家，湖南师范大学文学院教授，博士生导师，湖南省作家协会副主席，长沙市文联主席。创作出版儿童文学作品60余部，曾获全国优秀儿童文学奖、宋庆龄儿童文学奖、陈伯吹儿童文学奖、冰心儿童文学新作奖等。代表作有《笨狼的故事》《小巫婆真美丽》《阁楼上的精灵》《红鞋子》《阿莲》等。</p>
