The Collected Ghazals of Hafiz - Volume 1

This presentation of Hafiz's Divan does not pretend to be a work of scholarship in any sense, but is intended for the general reader with a genuine interest in mysticism and mystical poetry. Accompanied by the original Farsi and for those unable to read the original there is transliteration in 'roman' script to aid the recitation in Farsi. With footnotes to elucidate the meaning further this is surely one of the most accessible books on Hafiz's poetry ever published.
