<p>Meet Jack. Jack is charming. Jack is an alcoholic and drug addict. Jack is mentally ill. The Pacific Northwest in the 1980s and 1990s is a drug subculture wrapped in a music scene isolated in a fishbowl. Locals only. Nobody gets in and nobody gets out. Until they do. Jack's world is gone. New people new ideas and a new culture in the PNW has long since supplanted him and his ilk. In that forgotten world Jack rode his charming disposition to the peak of his mediocre subculture's hierarchy. Whenever he was able to rise up his myriad of mental illnesses and substance abuse always knocked him back down in the gutter. Watching Jack isn't always fun. Often it's genuinely painful but it's always real. Jack exists in a well-documented place and time but he embodies that part that nobody talks about.</p>
