The Concept Challenge in British/American Language and Culture Studies

This book is aimed to culturally analyse conditioned patterns of verbal behaviour laid by Herder J. Humboldt K. and developed in the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis providing deep connection between language consciousness and general culture of the linguistic community. From this perspective we will examine the value components of the concept Challenge in American and British publicistic online discourse and political discourse of President Barack Obama and Queen Elizabeth II as the reflectors of social worldview.
