The Concepts of Democracy and Socialism in Socio-Political Philosophy

This book critically assess the concepts of democracy and socialism as political system of government in view of attempting a comparative analysis of both concepts as to show their similarities and differences. Furthermore it evaluates both concepts as to expose their inadequacies and maintains that democracy and socialism are philosophically rooted in the idea of equality and they can serve as a philosophical foundation in which a society can be based politically. Finally the book concludes that democracy and socialism can work together to a large extent in view of having a well-structured and organized society where justice can prevail.
