The Confessions of Saint Augustine is considered by many to be one of the most important religious biographies of all time. Written in the middle of the 4th century The Confessions of Saint Augustine tells of its author''s upbringing in Algeria his place at the Imperial court of Milan his struggle to overcome his sexual desires and the ultimate dedication of his life to Christ and Christian ways.
