Research has created a dating website in which profiles of clients are being used to identify individuals who with a little coercion could be prompted to do tasks that the US government does not want to be seen involved in. Rachel Gilbert and Caleb Prescott are brought together through this site and find themselves faced with the task of exposing a faith healer who is trafficking drugs. Mysteriously the faith healer is murdered and the police think that Rachel and Caleb had something to do with it. To save themselves they are forced to unravel the ten year old mystery of Rachel's sister's death.
