The Contribution of the Media to Promoting Citizenship

As a result of the approval of the pluralist Constitution of the Republic of Mozambique in 1990 and the Press Law in 1991 several media outlets emerged that are independent of the state. This book therefore looks at the role played by the media in promoting citizenship in the city of Nampula. In this context the study included the Media that operate in this city with an emphasis on Radio Television and Newspapers.
