The Contributions Of Infrastructure And Human Development To Economic Growth In Gujarat : An Empirical Evidence

Adequate inf rastructural facilities and high human development are the preconditions of economic growth of an economy. Gujarat is a fast growing state with high economic growth but comparatively low human development. Though Gujarat's economy has shown a consistently increasing rate of economic growth yet the state was unable to imp rove its rank in HOI. It is in this background that the present study has been set to analyze the level of infrastructure and human development in the state as well as with respect to its districts and to establish relationship between infrastructure economic growth and human development.
